How Gem Mining Works

1. Choose a bag of mining rough filled with real gemstones from around the world.

2. Pour some of the rough into a screen-bottom box.

3. Dip the box into the running water of the sluice and watch as the soil washes away to reveal hidden gems!

4. Use the Educational Card to help identify the treasures you uncover.

5. Take home your sparkling gemstone and emerald finds in the collection bag provided!
